Bull At Mammoth

Sometimes the best wildlife viewing is right in front of your nose! The spectacle which occurs at Mammoth Hot Springs each day of the summer, but is heightened during the "rut" is a classic example. This bull was terrorizing the entire administrative area, and had the park rangers running around like crazy. The bull was everywhere, chasing other bulls, bugling, rubbing, challenging cars, and generally being a major pest. But, this was the finest of entertainment--mother nature at her best!
