Title:Welder
Description:We are looking for a skilled welder to cut and join metals and assist in the production of Enviremedial Services Systems. TIG, MIG and Stick experience is required. You will need to operate appropriate equipment to put together mechanical structures or parts with a great deal of precision. You must be competent in using potentially dangerous equipment following all safety precautions. The ideal candidate will also need to have a steady hand and great attention to detail. Knowledge of different kinds of metal and their properties is essential. Although this is primarily a welding position. Enviremedial Services is a system manufacturing company and the employee must be willing to complete other tasks, such as assembly, plumbing, electrical and other such tasks to assist in completing the final product. On the job training will be provided for some of these tasks the employee may not be familiar with.

This employee will primarily be based in Pinedale, Wyoming, but at times will be required to travel to ESI work locations around the U.S. and Puerto Rico for up to two weeks at a time for large system installation.

Wages between $16.00 - $23.00 per hour (based on experience) plus full benefit package. The applicant will be notified of the formal interview dates.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Read blueprints and drawings and take accurate measurements to plan layout and procedures.
- Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on the requirements.
- Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with power saws to match measurements).
- Use power saws, chipping knife and hand shears in cutting, beveling, and contouring metal work-pieces.
- Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning with chemical solutions and wire brushes to remove impurities such as scale, rust, grease, and moisture.
- Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.
- Utilize plasma, gas or electric arc in welding metallic and composite materials.
- Align components using calipers, rulers, etc and clamp pieces.
- Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)
- Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
- Repair structures by dismantling, reshaping, and reassembling metal components using cutting torches and hand-tools
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of local and international building codes/legal requirements.
- Monitor work equipment to ensure usage is within optimum temperature to avoid overheating or expansion.
- Welding steel piping together for hot water and chilled water systems up to 8".
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
- Design patterns and models for a welding project using specifications contained in a blueprint.
- Conduct estimates to determine the amount and cost of materials required for construction.
- Mix and apply protective or decorative coat on finished products.
