Description: This position will play a support role in assembling & packing orders. Orders ship to wholesale and retail customers and are composed of a range of embroidered home and gift items including pillows, table linens, and small gift accessories. Hours are 8 am - 4 pm, Wednesday- through Friday. During busy times, we may ask for more hours to be worked if possible. We strive to ensure that each package arrives to a customer correctly, with care and on time. Assist with receiving and unpacking inventory. Some gift wrapping may be required.
Requirements:
-Provide adequate support for the rest of the staff and work efficiently.
-Positive, energetic, attention to detail, good visual memory, ability to multitask.
-Must be able to lift boxes approx 10-50 lbs and climb a stair ladder daily.
-Experience packing boxes is a plus, but not required.
-Exhibit good interpersonal and communication skills.
-Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
-Work in a focused manner and accomplish deadlines with care and accuracy.
-Candidates should live close to the Pinedale area (Pinedale, Big Piney, Marbleton, Daniel, Boulder).
Responsibilities:
-Pull all orders as directed by Manager.
-Assemble and pack orders with detail to presentation and personal touch. Fill pillow cases with inserts.
-Follow manual and notes for all special orders (gift notes, gift wrap, tagging and labeling instructions, barcode, individual bag, etc)
-Iron products if required.
-Ask Manager as soon as any clarification is needed and communicate all QC issues to Manager.
Inventory:
-Count and conduct quality control for each item and communicate all discrepancies to Manager for all incoming production.
-Restock shelves/bins with incoming inventory.
-Keep daily track of each insert and box used.
-Alert Manager on all low stock, damaged or rejected inventory items.
-Friday general supply check and communicate to Manager.
-Kit items as directed (stationery, fabric swatches, combo packages).
General:
-Maintain an organized, orderly and clean work environment.
-Memorize each product by name and get to know each product to be able to recognize any issues.
-Adhere to Coral & Tusk’s high quality standards, policies and procedures.
-Conduct clean and straighten of products and warehouse as requested.
-Actively identify and suggest possible improvements.
Wages: $15/hr. Paid 30-minute lunch break.
