| Description: | Sublette County Unified Fire is seeking qualified applicants for the position of part-time Health and Safety Officer. The position provides a flexible schedule and requires approximately 15 hours of work per week. Hourly wage is $20 - $25/hr. depending on experience.
The Health and Safety Officer is part of the Command Staff in the organization and takes direction from the Fire Chief. The position assists the Chief to develop and provide recommended measures for assuring personnel health and safety and to assess and/or anticipate hazardous and unsafe situations. The Health and Safety Officer also develops the Risk Management Plan, Respiratory Protection Plan, reviews the Incident Action Plans for safety hazards, and provides timely, complete, specific, and accurate assessment of risks and required controls.
