Description:The Museum of the Mountain Man in Pinedale is looking for volunteer help at the museum and at the Sommers Ranch Homestead historical site for the summer season. Are you interested in being a Docent to help the museum while we are open in the summer to help explain mountain man history to museum visitors? Please come talk with us! We also would like help for during Rendezvous Days the second weekend in July.

The Sommers Ranch Homestead is located about 12 miles south of Pinedale. We are in need of help for living history demonstrations for our summer open days (June, July & August, Fridays & Saturdays from 10AM to 3PM) and for tour groups other days of the week as scheduled. Do you know how to spin? Cook on an old cook stove? Blacksmith? Churn butter? Are you a handyman who enjoys tinkering and doing small repairs on a ranch and would be willing to help us out with small building & repair projects? If any of these sound appealing to you, please contact us!
