| Description: | Guest Ranch Cook Jobs: June ASAP - Hunting Season (October 1st).
Cook 1: Cook will prepare food to order from a small menu. Mainly burgers and homemade desserts. We would love for the cook to be creative and be able to contribute to the menu. On slow days, the cook can take orders too, thus keeping all of the potential tip. On busy days there will be help from other staff. Must be organized, have good communication skills, and be friendly with guests. Must be flexible with schedule as some days will be long and some will be short.
Cook 2: This cook will prepare home cooked meals for our cabin guests. This is more of a guest ranch style cook. This person has to be a people person as guests will love to talk to you. This cook will prepare breakfast, packed lunches, and dinners. We prefer someone who is comfortable making from scratch (biscuits, cobblers.....). This is a good chance for someone to "practice" cooking skills and recipes too.
Preference to applicants who enjoy the outdoors and ranch style life and that have experience in camping, hiking, etc. The lodge only has power when the generator is on (1-3 hours a day), so there will be a lot of peace and quiet.
