| Description: | The Sublette County Rural Health Care District is seeking a forward-thinking, full-time Health Care Administrator with the experience and ability to fully manage the operations of the Rural Health Care District. The Sublette County Rural Health Care District is currently comprised of two health clinics with attached emergency departments as well as the county’s Emergency Medical Services. The District is seeking to build a general hospital within Sublette County and receive Critical Access Hospital designation within the next two years. The successful candidate must also have the experience and expertise to fully manage the operation of the CAH.
The HCA works closely with the RHCD board of trustees to enhance the effectiveness of their decisions. This candidate is responsible for selection, development, motivation and evaluation of all management and professional staff. A successful applicant monitors medical activities, appointments, medical staff privileges, and implements the policies necessary to assure quality health care services. Applicants must possess excellent oral and written communication and analytical skills. They must also have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with both administrative and medical staffs.
A five day a week work schedule is the usual with mandatory attendance at evening board and public meetings as scheduled. A bachelor’s degree in Business or related health care field and a minimum of three to five years of experience in a responsible administrative position in a hospital or comparable health care field is required.
