Description:Position Overview: Sublette BEEP is seeking a qualified part-time assistant educator to join our team for the 2018/2019 school year. This position is 30 hours per week. Sublette BEEP is an Early Childhood Program that provides a nurturing and safe environment for infants, toddlers and preschoolers.

Part-time position includes competitive pay and partial benefits which include employer-paid state retirement, an education incentive and health incentive. Sublette BEEP follows the Sublette County School District #1 Staff calendar and our own inservice days.

The Assistant Educator supports the Educator with the daily operations of the classroom and has direct responsibility for the safety, security and education of children. The Assistant Educator is also responsible for assisting the Educator with implementing any curriculum that is used in the classroom. The Assistant Educator is also responsible for the development of the social and emotional well-being of all children in the classroom. The Assistant Educator is also expected to work with parents of students and other BOCES Early Education Program staff.

Qualifications & Skills: Coursework in early childhood education would be preferred. The position requires one year experience in early childhood education. Travel for the position is limited but there are professional development activities that will occasionally require travel. Must deal with confidential information and/or issues in a manner that exhibits good judgment. Applicants must be able to pass a background check.
