Job Title: B.E.E.P Full-Time Assistant Educator
Position Overview:
The BEEP Assistant Educator assist with the daily operations of the Infant, Toddler and Preschool rooms and has direct responsibility for the safety, security and education of the children.
BEEP Assistant Educator is a full-time hourly position to include health insurance, paid holidays, sick leave, vacation, Wyoming Retirement, education incentive and health incentive. BEEP follows the Sublette County School District #1 staff calendar. We operate from 7 a.m to 5:15 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversight of the general learning environment of their classroom which should be based upon routine observation of student cognitive, emotional and social growth.
- Maintain regular communication with parents of students
- Provide a nurturing environment for all children
- Work with other BEEP staff in their collaborative endeavors to educate children in the program.
- Provide a clean, hospitable room for children enrolled in BEEP
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- No minimum education is required, but coursework in early childhood education or a related field would be helpful.
- Requires a minimum of one year experience in early childhood education.
- Travel is limited but there are professional development activities that might require occasional travel.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
