Hatch Report - July 31, 2005
& New Fork Rivers:
The Green and
New Fork Rivers are still a little high, but they
are both fishing great. There are good strong hatches
of Gray Drakes in the mornings and Yellow Sallies
in the afternoons. We are starting to see a few Hoppers
around, and trout are starting to look up for bigger
bugs on the surface.
The small area streams
are clearing up and fishing well, Caddis and hoppers
are the best bet. For you folks that are fishing for
the cutt-slam, the Cottonwood Creeks are both fishing
All the alpine lakes are really turning on for
those of you headed to the hills. Caddis in the mornings
and Hoppers in the afternoons is the mainstay.
Get out and enjoy our short, but sweet summers
in Sublette County, Wyoming!
If you have a good fish story, or any questions on fly
fishing, e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I always like to hear about
the big one that got away!
