Monday, January 28, 2013
Mushers arrive from the Alpine Stage to
" Welcome Mushers" Dinner at 6:00 PM in the Sublette County Library, 15 South Tyler, Pinedale. Sponsored by Race Sponsor, Shell E & P Company

Tuesday, January 29, 2012:
Pinedale-Cora Stage Stop, starts at 10:00AM. 35 miles- START and FINISH Upper Green Parking Lot in Cora. Take HWY 352 to Upper Green Parking Lot (approx 25 miles from Pinedale)
Race Results, Wind River Brewing Co. from 11:00am to 3:00 PM, 402 W Pine Street – HWY 191 in Pinedale

Big Piney Schedule:
January 30-31, 2013

"Meet the Mushers" Banquet
Meet the Mushers Banquet at the Marbleton Senior Center at 6PM Monday. Spaghetti dinner with Dutch Oven delights - Dinner is on a free-will donation.

Wednesday, January 31: 9 AM Race Start at Middle Piney parking lot - Spectators welcome! The mushers head to Middle Piney parking lot west of Big Piney. They take off from the Start Line beginning at 9:00 AM. They will make a 54-mile loop and return to cross the Start/Finish Line at the Middle Piney parking lot.

Race organizers are still looking for host families for the Mushers and Local sponsors. All the sponsorship money stays local For more info please contact-Bob Beiermann at 307-260-8500.

After they finish the BP/Marbleton Stage Stop, mushers will care for their dogs and then pack up their trucks and dog and drive to Lander for the next leg of the IPSSSDR race.

The IPSSSDR, the largest sled dog race in the lower 48 states.

Host-town festivities will take place in Jackson, West Yellowstone, Alpine, Pinedale, Cora, Big Piney, Marbleton, Lander, Kemmerer, Diamondville Lyman, Mountain View, and Evanston.

Pedigree® Food for Dogs is the title sponsor of the IPSSSDR. The Pedigree® brand actively supports a wide range of programs that promote responsible pet ownership and highlight the contributions dogs make to society. They will be donating pet food to animal shelters on the race route.

IPSSSDR merchandise will be available at the Welcome Mushers Dinner in Pinedale and Big Piney Dutch Oven Dinner.
