MUSHERS BANQUET Tuesday, February 2, 2016, Pinedale Library:

Mushers arrive from the Lander Stage to
"Welcome Mushers" Dinner at 6PM in the Lovatt Room of the Sublette County Library, 15 South Tyler, Pinedale.

PINEDALE STAGE RACE DAY Wednesday, February 3, 2015:
Pinedale-Cora Stage Stop, starts at 9:00AM. 35 miles- START and FINISH Upper Green Parking Lot in Cora. Take HWY 352 to Upper Green Parking Lot (approx 25 miles from Pinedale).
Breakfast Buffet and lunch available at nearby Kendall Valley Lodge
If you are interested in hosting a musher, please contact Gayle Hamner at 307-679-8752.

Organizers are accepting volunteers for race day. For more information contact the Pinedale Travel and Tourism Board at 307-231-2716 or the Sublette County Chamber of Commerce, 307-367-2242.

Big Piney Stage Stop Schedule:
MUSHERS BANQUET Wednesday, February 3, 2016, Marbleton Senior Center:
Meet the Mushers Banquet at the Marbleton Senior Center at 6PM Wednesday evening, Feb. 5th. Beef Stroganoff over noodles, corn, green salad, garlic bread. Desserts include cookies and treats by local 4-H students as well as home-made Dutch Oven delights. Dinner is on a free-will donation.

RACE DAY Thursday, February 4, 2016:
9 AM Race Start at Middle Piney parking lot - Spectators welcome! The mushers head to Middle Piney parking lot west of Big Piney. They take off from the Start Line beginning at 9:00 AM. They will make a 54-mile loop and return to cross the Start/Finish Line at the Middle Piney parking lot.

Race organizers are still looking for host families for the Mushers and Local sponsors. All the sponsorship money stays local For more info please contact-Bob Beiermann at 307-260-8500.

After they finish the BP/Marbleton Stage Stop, mushers will care for their dogs and then pack up their trucks and dog and drive to Kemmerer for the next leg of the IPSSSDR race.

Welcome to the new sponsor for 2016: Eukanuba! The Eukanuba State Stop Race is now in its 21st year. It is the largest sled dog race in the lower 48 states.

Host-town festivities will take place in Jackson, West Yellowstone, Alpine, Pinedale, Cora, Big Piney, Marbleton, Lander, Kemmerer, Diamondville Lyman, Mountain View, and Evanston.

Eucanuba is the title sponsor of this sled dog race. They will be donating pet food to animal shelters on the race route.
