Celtic Winter Solstice Concert with Ensembe Galilei
Wednesday

The nationally known Celtic music group will return to Pinedale for an evening of free holiday music on Wednesday at 7PM. The free concert will be in the Lovatt Room of the Pinedale Library.

15: SCRHCD interviews of CAH proposed design/build teams The Sublette County Rural Health Care District will interview today all five proposed design/build teams who responded to the RFP to build the Critical Access Hospital in Sublette County.

20: Deadline for businesses to sign up for banner sponsorship for 2018 Big Piney/Marbleton Stage of the Pedigree Sled Dog Race This stage of the race will be Monday, January 29th. The "Meet the Musher" Banquet will be January 28th. Banners are $100 and will have your name or business printed on a banner that will be attached to a musher's sled. 21: Winter Break Movie Day at the Pinedale Library It’s the Pinedale Library's first ever Winter Break Pajama party. Fun new movies, snacks and hot chocolate will be served, and the wearing of comfy pajamas is highly encouraged. All children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult, older responsible sibling or babysitter. K-5th grades from 10AM to Noon in the Story Time Room. 6th-12th grades at 2-4PM in the Teen Room.

22: Gift wrapping at the Pinedale Library “It’s a Wrap” on Friday from 6 – 8 pm in the Lovatt Room of the Pinedale Library.  Bring your gifts, spread out, and wrap your holiday presents. Gift wrapping supplies will be provided.
23: PAC Frosty 5K Family Fun Run

24: Live Nativity at the Dick Noble Ranch Everyone is invited to join the Noble family for their Live Nativity. 6PM. Turn at the Cora Post Office.  Please bring a plate of cookies to share. 25: Christmas Eve Service in Bondurant - Everyone is invited to come celebrate the Eve of the Nativity of Our Lord at 3Pm at the Chapel of St. Hubert the Hunter in Bondurant. The Reverand Mary Erickson will preside and celebrate Holy Eucharist at their tradional Christmas Eve service.

26: Deadline to register for tomorrow's Big Piney Snowshoe Day Register by today for the snowshoe trip to the mountains with Big Piney Recreation tomorrow. Cost is $10/person. Preregister by calling 307-276-4071.
27: Snowshoe Day Head to the mountains with Big Piney Recreation. Wear your snow clothes. They have snowshoes to borrow. 11AM to 3PM. Cost is $10/person. They will provide bus transportation to the mountains. Preregister by Dec. 26th by calling 307-276-4071.
28: Free Ice Skating Social in Big Piney From 1-4PM at the ice rink behind the Big Piney High School. Sponsored by Big Piney Recreation. They have ice skates for borrowing.

31: Christmas Bird Count Birds are counted within a 7.5 mile radius of the Pinedale Library. Everyone is invited to a chili potluck dinner at 5:30PM in the Pinedale Library boardroom for a slide show about birds and raffle prizes. 31: New Year's Eve

31: Torch Light Parade at White Pine Ski in the New Year! Anyone who wants to participate should be up at White Pine at 5PM. White Pine will supply glow sticks. There is no charge to take part. Skiers will ride the Little Spirit lift up and wait until dark. Expect to ride down at about 5:30PM. Spectators welcome to watch from the ski lodge.

1 - April 30: Many area big game management areas on BLM close today Motorized vehicle travel restrictions begin on big game winter range on certain BLM lands. In the Ryegrass, Bench Corral, Deer Hills, Calpet, Miller Mountain and Mesa of the Pinedale Field Ofice. The closure is in place to protect elk, moose, pronghorn and mule deer from disruptive human activities during the difficult winter months. Motorized vehicles include but not limited to snowmobiles, all-terrain vehicles, pickups and sport utility vehicles are prohibited in these closed areas. Highways, county and active oil and gas roads are not affected unless posted otherwise. Non-motorized travel such as walking, horseback riding, cross-country skiing or mountain biking is still allowed.

Aniel Daniel Chili Cook-off (Daniel) - Last Sunday in March or first Sunday in April. Held at the historic Daniel Schoolhouse. Social gathering and great chili competition.
Bondurant BBQ
(Bondurant) - Always held the last Sunday in June following church services at St. Hubert the Hunter church in Bondurant. Fundraiser for the community.
Green River Rendezvous (Pinedale) - Always held the 2nd full weekend in July. Includes a parade, living history presentations, Rendezvous Pageant, Rendezvous Prairie Mass and much more
