Update April 11, 2007:
Progress is moving forward on the bank construction. Workers have the side and interior walls framed in for the first floor. The 2nd floor and roof should take shape in the next couple of weeks.

Update January 17, 2007:
Bank representatives went before the Town of Pinedale Planning & Zoning Board last night to request a modification of their building permit. The bank wants to add a second story to their building to add more storage space and house additional staff. The 2nd floor will add 1,800 square feet to the project. The Board voted unanimously to re-issue the building permit for the reconfigured new building. With the new permit in hand, the bank can resume progress on construction.

Update January 7, 2007:
Rocky Mountain Bank opened its doors in Pinedale in January, 2005. They have other branch banks in Jackson and Rock Springs, Wyoming. They are located in downtown Pinedale on the corner of Highway 191 and Sublette Avenue. They are catycorner across the street from Obo's Market & Deli, and just west of the Summit Building.

The original building was planned to be just one story, but due to growth that exceeded their expectations, they have changed their plans and will request permission from the Town of Pinedale to add a second story to the building for more office space, employee With the addition of the second story to the plans, they expect to have their new building completed in late June, 2007. The bank is currently operating out of a temporary modular trailer on the lot just north of the construction.

The Bank expects they will expand their staff by four to five times what it is presently once the new building is completed.

Kasey Thomas of Black Magic Construction is the general contractor on this project. They are new to Pinedale, formerly from Green River.
