| Wagons A+cross Wyoming offers a unique vacation experience to relive the adventure of the Oregon Trail! The wagon train travels for 5 days along the Lander Cut-Off of the Oregon Trail near Big Piney, Wyoming, averaging about 10 miles per day. We travel for two days, take a layover day, and then travel two more days back. You will cross sagebrush plains into mountain ranges that the pioneers crossed with spectacular views of the Wind River Mountains, the Wyoming Range, and Greys River country. Your hosts are experienced teamsters driving authentic iron-wheeled freight wagons from days gone by, pulled by teams of well-trained horses. Gentle saddle horses are available for rotating with other guests during the day and on the layover day. Limited to 16 guests per wagon train - family/group rates are available. This is a wonderful family adventure! Children ages 5 and older. (No pets please.) These trips include transportation and meals. You provide your own sleeping bag, clothing and personal effects.
